A look at one of my favorite Legacy Games and the story moments that stood out. The first mission does a perfect job of setting the tone for the rest of Betrayal Legacy, and serves as a good reminder to keep yourselves guessing about what's to come. Essentially, a completed copy of Betrayal Legacy is a completely unique version of Betrayal at House on the Hill, shaped by the decisions you made during the campaign. . This is the first game that entirely clicked for us, and thats in large part because the amount of time before the haunt has been increasing each game: there was only one omen in the first game, two in the second, and three in the third, pushing the Haunt back a little each time. Betrayal Legacy is also smart for what it does and does not take from the original Betrayal. But the mechanic that gave us the ability to walk through a hole in space to find new dimensions, items, and curses was a really great jump. Right away, Betrayal Legacy shows how it stands apart from the original Betrayal at House on the Hill. Maybe someday I will, but for now Ill let that particular ghost slumber. This was a great bit of Legacy because it felt like it permanently changed the house in a way that nothing else did before. Betrayal Legacy is a gaming experience I will never forget. Co-op: The cooperative play of this Chapter is back to the multi-stage strategy that weve been missing. We end up screwing this game up, but it feels better than the others mainly because its got some clever mechanics that allow us some agency and because weuse that agency to screw up. Folio infernum door 6 has the mystic elevator behind it. This allows our first bit of strategic cooperation, as we run to different locations in the house to reveal these clues. Speaking of which. While it's tough to talk about Betrayal Legacy without spoiling anything, I can say how my friends and I reacted while playing. The person who used the helm the most is a traitor. and our No, we still dont know what this means, but were told the next Chapter will be Part II of the game. With that said, our cooperative experience was a bit subpar: our haunt happened very early, which means that we didnt have much time to collect weapons beforehand.
